Stories Bridge the Gap Between Students and Educators

Seventy participants, a blend of lecturers, teachers, and university students, joined our workshop at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. We mixed groups from the start, and through each story-developing activity, the bond between students and educators deepened. One of our goals is to foster these kinds of sustainable relationships and communities through our story-based workshops.

Lecturer Mega Wulandari wrote about the workshop, “It was amazing! You showed us how storytelling can make lessons super engaging and fun for students. I walked away feeling really inspired and can’t wait to try out these techniques in my own classroom. And the anthem was heartwarming.”
